The Rampion Visitor Centre was officially opened in Brighton by local MP Cartoline Lucas in September 2020. The centre aims to bring to life the story of renewable energy and the construction of the Rampion Wind Farm, 8 miles offshore. One of the most exciting and popular exhibits is a virtual reality experience taking visitors out to the wind farm, then climbing up one of the turbines to stand on top, looking out over the wind farm and back towards the shore. "It makes you feel like you're really at the top, which is quite scary" enthused Caroline Lucas. The VR experience was produced for RWE Renewables by the CHPV team.
